Our lab is dedicated to studying the processes (present, historical, and ancient) shaping our coasts. We are interested in all coastal depositional environments from river floodplains to the continental shelf. Scroll through our posts for information on recent and ongoing projects. All research has a major field-work component and focus on North Carolina, making the Institute of Marine Sciences in Morehead City a perfect research base. Sedimentology, geomorphology, geophysics…those are our strengths.
