Justin Ridge presented the abstract, “Location, location, location: landscape setting and bathymetry interactively determine intertidal oyster-reef expansion and restoration success” at the 42nd Annual Benthic Ecology Meeting in Savannah, GA, March 20-24, 2013. He also submitted two videos to the 2013 Beneath the Waves Film Festival which is part of that meeting. He won the Best Student Film Award along with Michelle Brodeur, Rachel Gittman, and Joseph Morton for the movie “Saving North Carolina’s Reefs”. His other video, “A Reef’s Tale”, was also created with Michelle Brodeur and is shown below. Nice job.
